Dr. Sarah

Growing up in South West of WA and being a country girl at heart, I have always had an innate understanding of natural living, the value of home-grown foods and an interest in old-fashioned natural remedies. My passion in health and wellbeing led me to elect chiropractic as a profession as it aligns with my philosophy of solving health and wellness issues the natural way.

I graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Health Science in 2010.  During my time at university I had the opportunity to combine my love of travel with my studies and got involved with committees that provided volunteer chiropractic health care to many sporting and music events, remote mining and aboriginal communities in the Pilbara, as well as underprivileged communities in Northern India. I am grateful that during these trips I was exposed to a wide range of health conditions that I am now able to apply the experience gained in my work today.

My career began in Bunbury where I practiced for 1 year, moving on to Manjimup for 4 years. Since moving back to Fremantle in 2015 I have been supervising students at the Murdoch University Chiropractic Clinic as well as part time work in various chiropractic clinics in the metro area.

I have finally gained the experience and courage to open my own practice, in which I intend to provide not only chiropractic but a true healing experience, combining many techniques and knowledge I have gathered over the last 10 years.

My special interest lies in women’s health, pregnancy and paediatrics particularly after I had my daughter 7 years ago.  Being a mother has been a great learning experience that has inspired me to further my studies in the treatment for children.

I employ a variety of techniques such as manual chiropractic adjustments for joint dysfunction, trigger point therapy and soft tissue therapies for muscle/tendon issues.

I cater to a wide range of health conditions such as neck and back pain, headaches, stress related issues, disc problems, sporting injuries amongst others.

Additionally, I provide nutritional advice and a variety of techniques to supplement your Chiropractic treatment as my preferred approach is to encompass the body, the mind and the spirit.

“Dr Sarah at La Vita Wellness is an excellent chiropractor. I recently visited her on a few occasions for a sudden back muscle issue.
